For Veterinarians:

As a mobile service, we provide advanced internal medicine care at your own facility, while the pets remain under the direct care of their trusted primary veterinarian. This arrangement is ideal for those clients who do not desire referral to an outside facility, when long-term internist follow-up for the pet is not needed or wanted, or for pets that are hospitalized and cannot be easily transferred to a different facility. Having the ultrasound performed within your practice also allows for the revenue stream from additional diagnostics tests or therapies to remain within the practice.

Services available include ultrasound imaging of the abdomen, thorax, and neck, ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration of organs and masses, cholecystocentesis, and fluid collection from the abdominal, thorax, and pericardial sac. Each consultation includes a review of previous medical records, physical examination of the patient, and development of an in-depth diagnostic and therapeutic plan based on the entire clinical picture.

Communication occurs both directly at the time of the ultrasound to discuss first impressions and immediate next diagnostic steps, and can be ongoing through telephone or email to discuss cytology findings (if FNA is pursued) and ongoing care. Ultrasound reports are emailed within 12 hours of the appointment.
